Jack and Elise got married at Oswald House, in Dunnikier, and it is the nearest venue to home I have ever worked at. I could see the roofline from the end of my street.

Mostly it means nothing gets left to chance on the day itself, because there is no journey to plan around. No early alarm to beat traffic, no worry about a diversion on the morning, no packing the car the night before in case something is forgotten. If a battery needs charged an extra time or a card needs swapped out, home is minutes away rather than a drive.

It also means I can walk the grounds in daylight whenever I like, rather than getting one look at a venue on the morning of the wedding and working the rest out as I go. That familiarity is the same advantage I have at Dean Park and Balbirnie, just built up faster because I do not need an excuse to be in the area.

None of that shows up on screen as a trick or a style. It shows up as one less thing that can go wrong on a day that only happens once.

The same as everywhere. I do not price by venue. Twilight is £1,500 for the record of your day, Essentials is £2,500 and adds the cinematic film, and Signature is £3,000 with coverage through to 1am included rather than charged by the hour.
