What I have learned filming here.

Audio is the part everybody underrates. I've invested in kit that can record four people at once for speeches, quad channel, because a barn's hard surfaces and high roofs work against you the moment the room fills up. I've learned the hard way what happens without it: syncing someone's voice back to picture by hand is a nightmare. Netflix will let picture quality drop before it ever touches the audio, because bad sound loses viewers instantly and bad picture doesn't. Poor video, you can get away with. Poor audio, never.
